Accessed by helicopter or by a 40-minute transfer in a 4WD Annandale vehicle across the cliff-top farm tracks, this awe-inspiring setting offers couples the chance to make memories around the clock.
As you approach the bay, with its dark pebbles and azure waters, it is clear you are somewhere timeless and unique. The turf roof, stone walls and glass façade of the contemporary accommodation discreetly add another dimension to the landscape.
Inside, a king-size bed sits upon a dais, a step up from the living area and fireplace, so the incredible view dominates the space. The modern bathroom matches the rest of Seascape for drama – an arrow slit window capturing a view of the dramatic rock formations along the coast and leading to the outdoor spa.
From within, it appears you are floating on the open sea, in thrall to its ever-changing moods, yet safely embraced by luxury and modern comforts. Outside, dolphins and seals often frolic in the glittering water, with only you and the tussock grass to witness them.

Annandale is a private world set on the Banks Peninsula near Christchurch where rolling farmland, open skies and the sparkling waters of the Pacific greet you. Five distinct and luxurious villas are dotted across the 4,000-acre working coastal farm. Each one is perfectly positioned to ensure absolute privacy.
The villas can be booked individually or together to suit your accommodation needs, with a number of configurations available. The other four villas are Scrubby Bay, Shepherds Cottage, The Homestead and The Stables.
Multi-villa properties can be hired individually or as a full property.

Just as the tide ebbs and flows, the seasons and colours of the 4,000-acre Annandale farm change throughout year, from luscious greens in spring to tussocky golds by autumn, and we encourage guests to explore and be as hands-on as they like:
The Annandale Highlights tour is a guided 4WD tour across the farm. Experience sheep dogs at work and enjoy the atmosphere of the shearing shed. If you’re lucky, you may even see the skilled shearers in action.
